Here we are... It's turkey time of the year with Thanksgiving just around the corner. Hard to believe that it was just Halloween & what we call in the paranormal research biz as the busy season... When I think of Thanksgiving I don't think about ghostly encounters or possible poltergeist. I'm not saying that just because it's the holidays that there can be no activity... Ghost don't just turn in after Halloween & come back after the New Year... It doesn't work like that...
Anywho... It's not about the poltergeist, it's all about poultrygeist...
Yes the gobble gobble guy himself...
You see being from New Jersey & growing up there, Turkey's can be more scary than any ghostly shadow or demonic activity. Why? Because just when you least expect it, they pop out of the bush & start charging your car or chasing you down... They show no fear for you or your vehicle & will ram you even if you try to avoid them... Removing beaks & feathers from any part of your vehicle isn't comfortable... At least with deer they just stand there... These birds are hostile....
MY best friend Todd Brugmans plowed at least 4 one season if I remember right & he never saw them coming... Not like you can round up the carcas, take it home, stuff them & then throw them in your oven for Thanksgiving... These birds just don't cut it for the dinner table unless your Gary Busey or live in the mountains of West Virginia....
Anywho... I know this has nothing to do with paranormal investigations but I thought I throw it into the oven here to see what you all think... As for anything paranormal, we're still available for you if you need us....
Until then, all of us here at Mt Vernon Paranormal Society want to wish you a Happy & safe Thanksgiving.... Enjoy the fellowship of family & friends & watch out for kamakazi turkeys... Gobble gobble bill Yal!
